Lynn Brandli

I am thankful to have found yoga in 1991, began teaching in 1996 and became a devout student of BKS Iyengar's methodology in 1999,, when I began studying with Kathleen Pringle, owner and senior teacher at Stillwater Yoga. She would host accomplished Iyengar teachers and trainings from around the world. We were exposed to all the greats!

I chose this branch of yoga because of the purity of teachings, staying true to the guidelines in the Yoga Sutras of Patanjali and other ancient Yoga texts. We are fortunate to have the Iyengar family continue the tradition of Iyengar Yoga, from the Ramamani Iyengar Memorial Yoga Institute in Pune, India.

Along with yoga, one of my greatest passions is adventure! I combine yoga with travel to natural and sacred places and host international yoga retreats. See our retreat page for photos from our Yoga Retreats and Exploration in Mexico, Costa Rica, Portugal and Iceland. We hope to see you in 2026 for Iceland in the fall and Switzerland in the summer.

I also enjoy backpacking, eating delicious and simple local foods, and exploring our fun city of Atlanta.

I received my Bachelor's degree in Geography from Florida State University, where I created a  sustainability focus with emphasis on reducing carbon footprint, supporting local economies, with an emphasis on natural and organic farming.

My volunteer experience is vast, from implementing farm-to-school programs, to volunteering in classrooms, to board positions in schools and with Iyengar Yoga Association of the Southeast (IYASE).

I am grateful to be a part of the Iyengar Yoga community, learning and teaching, to receive many benefits: physically, emotionally,  mentally and spiritually.

Yoga practice is a deeply personal life-study, experiencing the inner workings and relationship to your deeper sense of Self and to all of humanity,  the natural, and the spiritual world.

Thank you for joining me in exploring the vast subject of Yoga.
